The problem was hiding in plain sight
Most fitness content is built around motivation. Hustle harder. Train more. Push through the pain. It took years of doing exactly that, along with a growing list of structural complaints, to realise the problem was not effort. It was information.
No generic program knew that my right hip was restricted, that my thoracic spine had adapted to eight hours of flexion per day, or that the way I was loading a deadlift was quietly compounding a structural imbalance. I was training hard into a broken pattern.
So we built the thing that should have existed
Mithrion started with a simple question: what if the first thing a coach did was actually read your body before prescribing a single rep? Two photos. Twenty seconds. A structural baseline that makes every subsequent recommendation more precise.
The name comes from Mithra, the ancient deity of covenants, light, and truth. An all-seeing figure. That is the standard we hold ourselves to: see the whole picture before you prescribe anything.
What we believe
We believe your body is not broken. It is adapted. Desk work, old injuries, asymmetric loading. Your body has been doing exactly what bodies do: compensating and surviving. Our job is to understand those adaptations and systematically work with them, not against them.
We are anti-hype, anti-shortcut, and deeply allergic to fitness content that sells identity instead of results. We respect physics and biology. We think the best coach is one that knows when to push and when to correct. Mithrion is that coach.
